Heads Up!! We're under construction!!
Pack 135 is taking some gigantic leaps in its reorganization efforts. Over the next several months you may notice several changes which we think will be beneficial. We believe we already have a fantastic pack, but we also think there is always room for changes and improvements.

A large focus is being placed on leader training. We are getting all of the leaders current in their specific training for their dens. To be in compliance with Cub Scout rules there are certain training sessions our leaders must take and we want to be sure we comply with these standards. Don Hake, Assistant CubMaster, will be our training co-ordinator to make sure everyone is up to date.

We are in the process of updating all of our records, thus insuring everything is current at the scout council so that we may take advantage of all the benefits the council has to offer. We are working closely with the staff at council so we will be informed in a timely manner of events and activites being offered, thus allowing us to be more involved in scouting activites.

The pack cleanup and inventory is underway. We are setting up a crafts closet to be utilized by the den leaders, allowing den activites to be planned around supplies on hand. Along with the craft supply closet we are assembling craft and game boxes which can be used not only for the scouts but also to occupy scout siblings during pack meetings. We are in the process of creating a Cub Scout library in which we hope to have the most recent copies of Cub Scout guideline books, craft-games-activity books, den leader help manuals, training information, scout magazines and newspapers. We hope to maintain an ongoing collection of scouting information. This library will be available to everyone in Pack 135. All parents are welcome to help on May 6th during the den meeting when we clean out some more items.

Another big change will be to out Pack Meeting Agendas. Starting this month our pack meeting will have a monthly theme. We will have a monthly theme each month, the dens will have the opportunity to incorporate this theme in their weekly meetings, planning their activites accordingly. The songs, games, skits, displays and exhibits for the pack meeting will all be associated with the theme. We aer trying to make our pack meetings more fun for the boys so they will look foward to this once a month program.

Pack Communication Table
As you enter the church for each den and pack meeting it is important you stop at the Pack communication table. This is where you will drop off information forms for pack activites. We are working hard to provide you with clear and accurate information about meetings, activites, camps, ect.. ALL parents need to be active participants of this process so that information gets to the proper person. Thank you in advance for utilizing this new system. There may be questions concerning forms you have filled out which can also be cleared up when you stop at the table.
